Well the day started by going to church, just me and lil Brent , since Big Brent is in California till the 20th :(...Church was great...Afterwords we headed to 10 and harper and watched the parade!

Our Thanks Giving break this year started with me and Lil Brent driving to Lansing to pick up Big Brent from work at 3:00pm...Then it was Up State bound we went heading to Cadillac for a Family Thanks Giving.

We had a great 4 days...spent a lot of time playing cards...Wednesday night Brent , Ashley, Brittney and Myself went to see New Moon!! That was a good movie...G-ma and G-pa stayed home and watched UP with the little guy...Thanks Giving dinner was scrumptious as always...Friday we spent the afternoon at the Driftwood with the Lowell Family...Bowling...was a big hit...i didn't bowl didn't want to break a nail...lol

We went to the Carl Johnson's in Cadillac Saturday they have tons of animal mounts and educational things for kids and adults. We also went to Mcbain just outside Cadillac to see the 400 ft wind turbines...those things are pretty awesome.

We headed home Saturday evening so we could attend Church on Sunday.

Barber Shop

Well today we spent the morning at Scott and Jodi's house, Scott had to work and Jodi is on bed rest for the next 6 weeks of her pregnancy..so me and lil brent spent the morning there helping out with Jayden so Jodi could rest....We left around noon when Jayden laid down for a nap...Brent wanted to go to the play scape for awhile, so we went to McD's for an hour or so...The i noticed that brents hair was getting REALLY LONG, so i took him to this cute little Barber Shop..I took a before ,during and after pictures...The funniest thing just happened i m watching a taping of my Soap from friday and someone is having a baby, brent looked at me and gave me a strange look, i said she is having a baby...he said whats she doing pushing it out her butt!!!...I just love the things they say.

Well i started the day off walking Logan to the bus stop with my son one last time....then i drove over and picked up my friend Jodi..she was there with me today, and i really appreciate it cause i don't know if i could have done it alone..I then drove to the dog park...played fetch with Logan one last time...from there we went and got Logan a double cheese burger and chicken nuggets, because i think if he could talk he would have wanted that...Then i handed him over and said goodbye...goodbye for now Logan until we meet again.

If he wakes in your Arms

I can hardly see through my tears... today I sent my best friend of years and years somewhere he had to go, where pain and sickness he won't have to know.
He's been with me ever since he was a pup... today I've had to give him up. He was sick, we both knew it and I wouldn't put him through it.
How did one like me deserve a friend who wanted just to serve? What was there that made him love me, with nobody else above me?
When I looked into his eyes, never did he criticize, never did he hold a grudge, never did he try to judge. He only gave me kisses and Hugs.
Two last weeks I had to try to find a way to say goodbye. In that time I told him more than I ever had before just how much I loved my pup, how it hurt to give him up. How though gone, he'd always be inside my heart, a part of me.
Then today was no mistaking, I made the decision, my heart was breaking.
"Dear God, let me see him in heaven above!
But for now Lord, please hold him, watch over his rest... if he wakes in Your arms tell him I love him best."

It has been a sad day today...we have come to the decision that we need to have out dog put to rest. We have had his since he was 8 weeks old...hes 10 now....i don't know what it is going to be like without him, its had to imagine.

To Logan,

You silly little pup...you have brought great joy to our family...you will be missed...but not forgotten..Till we meet again i hope you can snuggle up on a nice doggy bed in Heaven with a pig ear and a squeaky toy...I love you.

We had a Great Halloween!!! My son pretty much didnt want his costume on....he was maskless after the first house..and he is not to the age yet were he wants to get as much candy as he can. I am thankfull for that because i was cold and didnt want to be outside all night.
Gilbert was a Banana...Gracie was Dafnie...Brent was Optimus Prime...Kasey was a Witch...Tommy was Drew Brees!

Okay so about 2 hours later we got the costume!!! Yeah...Brent was going to be Aniken from star wars...then he thought he would be Harry Potter....The a few different Ninja guys... He finally decided on Optimus Prime...So we got it home and i wanted to look everything over and noticed that there was pieces missing..so i had to go back to the place that i just spent 2 hours at...but after seeing him in his costume tonight makes it all worth it...he looks so cute!!!

I remember the days in my life when i was in grade school , every weekend i would beg my parents to take me and my friends up to The Skate Loft...because that was the place to be...I could roller skate for hours....backwards....forwards....i was good...well this weekend we took our son skating and it just wasn't the same!...I thought it was going to be like riding a bike...i was pretty excited to go...boy oh boy was i wrong...it was like stepping on skates for the first time...i think my son did a better job then i did...But it was worth it to see my husband on roller skates...

Well lil brent still wasn't feeling that well today so we decided to not to go to church this morning. We spent the morning relaxing and having a Sunday breakfast at home.

Later in the afternoon brent was feeling better so we decided to go see a movie. UP! was playing at the 2.00 show at Macomb Mall..6.00 for the tickets...16.50 for drinks and pop corn..i guess its still cheaper then the regular show, 6.00 for all 3 instead of 9.50 a person...LOL. That was a really cute movie also, glad we went.

Bramble

Well we were going to head out to the Ren. Fest. today but with the rain we decided to head up to Port Huron instead.

We started by taking a tour of a The Bramble, we learned that his ice breaking ship was used many years ago in the Coast Guard.

Lil Brent had a blast even got to sit in the Captains Seat.

After leaving there we headed up the road, i cant remember what the place was called...terrible right...lol...we went inside got some donuts and hot coco...then walked through the farmers market ...i got the cutest little gourds!

Friday was every enjoyable..lil brents Grandparents came downstate from Cadillac to stay the weekend.

We decided to go to the Best Chinese restaurant around...Leongs Yum Yum....While we were there we bumped into Brent Aunt and Uncle that we haven't seen in years, they ended up sitting at our table and eating dinner with us, it was a very nice dinner.

When we got home lil brent decided he wanted to play UNO with everyone so we all enjoyed a game of UNO. Fun Times!

I have always been in awe with the creative mind that my son has. Now many people might feel this way about their children, i guess it is a normal though. He is always making up games for us to play, putting a twist on regular games to make them have his touch....it just alot of fun seeing his mind work.

We got iPhones a few weeks ago and lil brent loves them, he likes playing games on there and taking picture..here are some of the pictures i found on my phone this morning...Too Funny!

The first 2 pictures are the ones i took, the one with him in a tie was on picture day i cant wait to see how they came out this year...the other picture is him posing in a new outfit his Grandparents bought him.

We are off to SVS Vision today to get Brent his check up , and some new glasses he broke his Sponge BoB glasses. Just in time to because tomorrow we are losing our Vision and Dental...UGG!

I just have to say that Fall is my favorite time of the year....I love the crisp air....Taking my son to the Cider Mill. The leaves changing color..Halloween.

Anyways to update on how things are with the family....We are happy as clams...we LOVE our Condo...it is feeling like home alittle more everyday...This place is such a blessing...it is just amazing the feeling we have of not having a house payment!!!Praise God!

Brent is doing awesome in 1st grade...he says that he really likes his school...he brings home really good marks on his papers...so we are very pleased.

I am gonna put some random pictures in this blog...And i am going to try to Blog more, because i haven't been doing it much lately.

The first few pics are from back when it was CFL kids camp and brent spent the day up near port huron with his grandparents...Looks like they had a great day!

He just didnt have the hang of the scooter yet...You should see him on it now!

Open House

Well it was a bit backwards...but today we had open house at Brent's School. We got to meet his teach , she seemed very nice. His classroom and school are so nice, we are very excited to see how this year turns out. Brent took us on a tour of his school, he showed us where he eats lunch, where his gym was...we got to see his Music and Art rooms. The Library is my favorite..the way they have it laid out is so kid friendly and cute!. I got a picture of Brent in one of the reading nooks, also standing in front of one of the exits of the Library. He is excited to have his own locker.

The thing i liked the most was seeing his first art project of the year...my son his so loving and thoughtful...the kids were asked to draw a picture of something they like...We drew his Grandma and Grandpa...most kids said baseball...LOL

So my big boy got on a bus this morning for the first time. He was so excited and i was nervous...I hope he is having a great first day. He should be getting off the bus at 4:00..The day seems longer without him here, but i was able to get some shopping done without a 6 year old..very nice...LOL

I know its been so long since i have been here. We have many update...First of all we bought our Condo!!!
Super excited about that...we have been there everyday working on getting it all cleaned and ready.
We are gonna be painting this weekend...possible laying the flooring that we bought.
We enrolled Brent into the school just down the road...he is super excited that he gets to ride on a BUS!! My little boy riding a bus...they grow up so fast.

Well we got home this afternoon to a wonderful surprise... The HUGE tree in our backyard decided to shed some weight and a branch the size of my backyard crashed down taking our power lines with it. We were blessed to not be home, and also to have nothing destroyed by its damage....check out the pics!!

It has been forever since i blogged...there is just a bunch going on and we have been super busy..

Kids Camp Carnival day was yesterday...it was good while it lasted..but it did get rained out...My in-laws came down form Cadillac this week to watch little Brent play t-ball Tuesday, That is Brent in the back with his arms up...don't know what he was doing...lol

....On the way to the game they had someone smash into the back of their car on Crashit(Gratiot).No wonder they moved up north...lol j/k mom i know your reading this.

Saturday was awesome....we had some of our wonderful friends take little Brent for the night!!...And what do you do when you finally get a babysitter on a Saturday night??? Yep that's right you go see Harry Potter...LOL

Well this morning i woke up excited to get things outside for the garage sale im having and found our fish bloat dead..And what does my son say...Mom can i flush him...LOL i guess after your first fish dying its a normal thing.

So the garage sale went good, I am not going to do it tomorrow we are gonna get alittle rain, i am planning on going out there Saturday

Brent had a blast at Tee-Ball i got a few pics, the one was alittle to far away but it was so cute the way he was standing with his knees bend and his hands on his knees like a Pro.

If forgot my camera tonight , but it was another Blue Birds t-ball game. It was a late game by the time we got it was bed time. Tonight we played against the black shirt, don't know what there name was. But we did see a familiar face, Ryan from Brent's class played against us. Brent was excited to see him, i think he cant wait to get back to school...he misses his friends!

After church on Sunday some of our congregation goes out to lunch at Michael's where if your under 10 means you get chocolate chip pancakes and a bouncy ball out of the vending machine..this week Brent and Ava got 4 balls each...lucky kids, i think Brent has at least 20 of those balls in his room..they pose for a pic...so cute!

Bloat...aka Titlist ( My husband calls him that cause he says he looks like he swallowed a golf ball...lol)took sometime out of his tank today to boil in the pan...Just kidding....i needed to do a water change and so yeah i put him in a pot...but i washed the pot and then put it in the dishwasher...lol...Anyways Brent had the job of catching the fish ...i was thankful that he did a great job...hes a natural!

Well tonight was another Blue Jays T-Ball game. Brent played Pitcher....2nd Base and Left Outfield. He was awesome in the pitcher position stopping a few balls and sometimes even throwing them where they needed to go...LOL...He is also getting alot better at batting...

No not the sandwich...Big Mac our Cat...I thought it was time in my blog to bring in some silly...cute..photos of my feline buddy. He is a 2 year old Sphynx (hairless) Cat. His life began on March 7 2007 in Saint Clair Shores michigan...he was a weird looking kitty, but as soon as i seen him i had to have him..

Mac loves laying in the sun..and as you can see in the photo is never without a hair tie, which he will play fetch with you for hours.

His other obsessions are laying anywhere warm a lap ...under the blankets..

Well we had a memorial today...no not the MJ memorial....we had one for our gold fish Swimmy. Now Bloat is all alone in his bowl...i just hope we can get this tank under control or he will have the same fate as his brother...Swimmy was a good fish...who was with us for 9 days....One last flush and off he went. Tonight we went out to dinner to a place that is basically in our backyard (Prime Time)...that until today i just thought was a banquet hall...go figure its actually a good place to eat...Or my son would say that they have the "Most wonder fullest Grilled Cheese EVER" Sorry for the blurry photo...camera phones are not the best.

Do you ever wonder what people are thinking then your in a restaurant eating and playing eye spy with my little eye...with a 6 year old pointing everywhere saying is it that...is it that one?

Well I took brent to the doctors this morning because he has a rash on his chest and back...Come to find out the Dr. beleives that he is allergic to the sunscreen that i used on him, since the rash isnt everywhere. But we have to keep an eye on him to make sure it goes away, and the Dr. wants us to start using dye free detergent and bath soap...other then that were having a great day, a break from the heat and air conditioning.

Yes! We have FISH....we took the journey to the pet store and lil Brent got to pick out a fishy....he is a large belly gold fish...he named him swimmy...cute i know....so we didn't want the fish to be lonely so i picked a fish out also....he reminds me of the puffer fish on finding Nemo...lol...and so that is where he got his name...Bloat...You know i have learned something new today...it is VERY hard to take pictures of fish so that is why i only have 1 picture and it is not so good...LOL...I think we are going to the Fireworks tonight should be fun.

We just love warm sunny Fridays....good thing we have power unlike some of the residents around our neighborhood. We had a horrible storm yesterday...we drove out last night to get a few things and there was down trees and power lines everywhere....

T-Ball game 2

Tonight was lil Brents 2nd t-ball game played at Huron Park feild 3...They played against the Orange team ...not sure what the teams name was...Brents team is the Light Blue Birds...Brent played Left outfield...catcher...and third base...he hit the ball great i started taking video of him batting and my camera dies on me...:o(~~~~~I did get a few pictures....Brent with Wyatt his classmate from Kindergarten.....Brent loved being catcher..until his glasses fell off and he had to take his helmet off...needless to say i had to go onto the feild to try and help him out.

1st Annual Lowell Classic

The morning started out with the golf guys heading to the Briars South in Cadillac to play the Lowell Classic.The out come after 36 holes was a tie between Brent and his Father...for the tie breaker they counted putts and the winner was.....Wayne (brents Dad)..2nd Brent Lowell 3rd Carig Lowell 4th Randy Lowell. Dad was presented with the Lowell Classic Trophy!

Mom out did herself yet again with supper tonight ...we had it all form pasta salad to fruit salad, while Dad BBQed dogs and bugers. There was a full house tonight....Taking the photo was Uncle Randy....starting on the left of the pic...you can just make out her face is Aunt Debbie, Jessie Lowell, Craig Lowell, Patrice Lowell , Wayne Lowell , Brent Lowell, Tracy Lowell, Brittany Lowell, Brent Lowell II and Ashley Lowell. Nightmare

Nightmare is where the Golfing started this weekend for Brent, Wayne(Dad), Uncle Randy, Craig(Brents Brother,....The guys didnt take any pictures of thier adventure today, we do know that Brent ended up with the lowest score of the day earning 4 point for tomorrows 1st annual Lowell Classic.

While the boys were golfing, Lil Brent ,Ashley, Brittany, and myself went putt putt golfing..we all had a blast and i know ashley took pictures and as soon as i get them from her i will post them.

After the boys got home we had some fun outside playing with lil brents new scooter that i think daddy had more fun on...lol

I even got Brent , lil brent and logan to pose for a photo op.

The rest of the night consisted of card playing and visiting with everyone.

First T-Ball Game

Today is Brents first t-ball game and we are all so excited....He is playing at V.M. Park in Roseville. His first position he played tonight is left outfield....no balls ever game to his area but that didnt stop him from running wherever the ball went...we have to work with him on staying in his area...lol...Batting in the 6th position is Number 6 Brent Lowell ...he hit the ball for the first time right down the middle and ran all the way to first base. As i am typing this he is reading it back to me! His second position played was 3rd base where he did get the chance to stop a ball!!!

Then he got to play the pitcher position where they really dont pitch cause its t-ball...bit he did get a chance to stop a few ball in between his playing with the pitchers mound...goofy boy! He batted a total of 3 times and had a blast. After the game most of his team mates went to Dairy Queen for thier Free cone Vanilla cone with sprinkles it was.

Little Brent and I had a fun filled day today of Ladder Ball...hes is actually getting really good at it, of corse i am still the best in the family.

We also watered all the plants in the back yard and cleaned all the outside chairs..when i say we i mean brent had the hose and i was trying to not get wet...needless to say there was no pictures of this moment...my camera thanks me...he doesnt like getting WET!

Kindergarten Graduation!!

I am a very Proud Mommy today...My handsome little man gratuated Today and will be going into 1st grade next year....I know people say this all the time but it really does just seem like yesterday that he was still in diapers...Makes me want to enjoy every minute with him even more if that is possible.

Grandma and Grandpa Lowell drove all the way from Cadillac to come see him today, made the day even more speical...Thanks Mom and Dad...:o)

T-Ball

We wanted Brnet to have something to do durning the summer...besides playing and sleeping in...and i talked to one of brents classmates mom's who told me that a few of his classmates were joining t-ball so that became it...he wanted to be on the team...so we got the glove and ball and started practicing...what Fun!!

Thanks to my Father in Law for the pic and Video...I have to get better at taking more pictures and having batteries in my camera...lol
